Re-established in 1986, Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club continues to provide the local community with the opportunity to participate and enjoy the game of cricket.

In 2013 Newton Aycliffe progressed and joined the ECB North Yorkshire & South Durham Cricket League, where the 1st XI gained promotion from the 3rd Division to the 2nd at the first time of asking. Newton Aycliffe has also won the prestigious NYSD Gold award for club of the year in 2016 and the 3 preceding years. This is scored on such things as facilities, match day experience and the way the team performed on field.

We field 2 senior teams in the NYSD League, and 4 junior teams at Under 11, 13, 15 and 17. We also run a Junior summer camp, providing cricket coaching to kids from the age 6 to 11.

New junior members are the the key ingredient of any good club and we are no different. Juniors are welcome at any age from 7 - 17, For all junior enquiries, please contact Lee Weldon

These are exciting times to be involved in Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club and we are always on the look out for new Volunteers. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities available throughout the club. We also welcome enquiries from any local students undertaking Duke of Edinburgh schemes or those who would just like to improve their CV's.

Sponsorship and fundraising plays a major role in all clubs and we are no different. We can offer sponsors great coverage via our large social media presence, on-site advertising. We have packages available from £20 and if you or your company are interested please get in touch.
